Welcome to Port Adelaide Counselling Service

Life can be complex, and at times it can feel difficult to manage stress, communicate clearly, or move forward with confidence. At Port Adelaide Counselling Service, we provide professional, personalised counselling for individuals, couples, and families seeking support to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.

Whether you’re working through relationship difficulties, adjusting to life transitions, or managing mental health concerns, we offer evidence-based strategies tailored to your goals. Our focus is on practical outcomes – improving communication, reducing stress, and helping you get unstuck and take control of what comes next.

With a supportive and grounded approach, we’re here to help you strengthen connections, build resilience, and take clear, purposeful steps forward.

Client-Centred

Each session is centred entirely on you. With nearly 20 years of experience, I bring clinical insight and practical strategies to support what matters most to you. Sessions are respectful, focused, and tailored to your goals and circumstances – whether you’re navigating stress, relationship issues, mental health challenges, or major life transitions.

Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, counselling is shaped by your values, needs, and pace – creating space for meaningful, lasting change.

Private & Confidential

Your privacy is paramount. All sessions are confidential and delivered in line with the AASW Code of Ethics (2020) and Practice Standards (2023).

A discreet side entrance is available, providing additional privacy separate from the main building access. View our Privacy Policy.

Experienced & Qualified

As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) with nearly two decades of counselling experience, I’ve worked across a range of settings – including private practice, hospitals, prisons, schools, and disability services.

I’m professionally registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and bring both clinical knowledge and grounded, real-world understanding to my practice.

Accessible Service

Our space is fully wheelchair accessible and designed to accommodate people with mobility needs. A private side entrance, and step-free access help ensure a smooth, comfortable arrival for all clients.

Located in the heart of Port Adelaide, we offer ample free onsite parking and convenient access via public transport, making it easy to attend sessions no matter your circumstances.
